September 25, Vocalist Jesse Charbonier & artist Arturo Diaz @ Mellow Yellow Restaurant

Although this event is a little far afield from those of us in Schaumburg, I am a music teacher and Bassist Michael Lough was a student of mine for many years. A graduate of Barrington High School, he has become a fine player and of course I am proud of him.

On September 24th, at 11:30pm-3:00am, after the HYDE PARK JAZZ FESTIVAL, join us at MELLOW YELLOW RESTAURANT for a post festival celebration featuring an exhibit of Chicago's Jazz and architectural Icons as created by artist ARTURO DIAZ, as well as "LIVE" music made famous by such Chicago jazz icons as Nat King Cole, Louie Armstrong, Dinah Washington, Mel Torme, Benny Goodman and others as performed by jazz vocalist JESSE CHARBONIER, along with his full band, including pianist Adrian Ruiz, Nils Higdon on drums, Jerome Croswell on Trumpet and Michael Lough on bass.

Admission is free! No reservations necessary! Full service cocktails and food will be available!

It promises to be a well attended event so get there early!

Exhibit opens at 11:30PM
Live performance begins at Midnight!
